On October 24, 2007 Total's Individual Shareholder Relations service became the first shareholder service to be awarded the ISO 9001 version 2000 certification for its communication services towards individual shareholders.
Total achieved this goal by strengthening its communication plan and increasing its personal interactions between individual shareholders and the Group through the daily use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software program to create a history of Total's relationship with each of its individual shareholders.
AFAQ Certification awarded this certificate to Total upon the completion of a thorough audit of the various communication processes that were implemented for individual shareholders.
Annual follow-up audits are conducted and on September 27, 2010, AFAQ renewed the three year certification. This certification demonstrates Total's commitment to satisfy long-term individual shareholder needs for financial information.
